Yes, some guys power their cars with wood, coal, and/or charcoal. But Lindsay found that roadkill was much more plentiful in Illinois than coal and firewood.

Lindsay's latest (and he thinks greatest) invention is a roadkill digester that quickly turns rotting roadkill into powerful methane gas easily digested by the four cylinder engine in his 1921 Cadillac pickup truck. But that was only his first prototype.

For his next experiment Lindsay mounted a much improved roadkill cooker in place of the sidecar on his motorcycle, and is now getting 4 miles to the squirrel, 10 miles with a rabbit, and 18 miles per dog all the while traveling at 47 mph. He tells us his next improvement will be a hydraulically lowered scoop that will scrape the fuel off the pavement without Lindsay having to stop and use his shovel. Such convenience!

What's next from the Lindsay Labs? He's planning to add a large suction hose so that in emergencies he can pump out septic tanks, dumpsters behind fast food restaurants, and mausoleums.

So for heaven's sake if you see this gluehead barreling down the road directly at you, wave your arms so that he knows you're still alive or you may end up inside the cooker!
