A
cult religion has grown up around Nikola Tesla, the main tenant of which is:
"Tesla was an incredible genius who is totally unappreciated." That, unfortunately,
is a more accurate description of how the Tesla worshiper would like to have
the world view him.
Genius is an overused word. A far more accurate description would be to say Tesla was a excellent engineer, but not genius. The Tesla religion has grown so bizarre in recent years that much of what is said about Tesla seems to be distorted or in many cases dead wrong. Fiction has been repeated so many times that is has become accepted as fact.
What follows are just a few discoveries I've turned up in recent years by just casually researching technological history. This information is based on original writings from original sources. As such I put far more faith in their accuracy than most of the strange Tesla books published in the past couple of decades.
